At Eva & Elie, each piece is crafted by hand in small quantities in Toronto Canada, often just one or two at a time. Our work reflects thoughtful design, quality materials, and a commitment to creating jewelry with both beauty and intention. We offer both natural gemstones and lab-created gemstones, especially in our rolled gold designs, so you can choose what aligns with your preference.

Our Materials

14k Rolled Gold

Rolled gold is made by mechanically bonding a thick layer of 14k gold to a base metal such as brass or sterling silver. It contains significantly more real gold than traditional plating, giving it excellent durability and long-lasting color. All rolled gold pieces are hallmarked 585RG.

Sterling Silver

Classic 925 sterling silver, used for everyday strength and shine.

Palladium Silver

A premium silver alloy that uses palladium for added brightness, durability, and tarnish resistance.

Rhodium-Plated Silver

Sterling silver coated with a thin layer of rhodium for a bright, polished finish and enhanced protection.

Gold Vermeil

Gold vermeil features a thick layer of gold (at least 2.5 microns) over sterling silver. It lasts far longer than standard plating.

How Gold Vermeil Differs from Gold Plating

Gold plating uses a very thin layer of gold over any base metal and wears more quickly. Vermeil uses sterling silver as the base and a much thicker layer of gold, offering better longevity and quality.

About Our Gemstones

We use a curated mix of natural gemstones—such as emeralds, rubies, sapphires, opals, topaz, quartz, and more—as well as lab-created gemstones in selected designs. Natural gemstone pieces are always clearly labeled, and lab-created stones are chosen for brilliance, affordability, and consistency.
